If you have ever encountered a teaser from Silvi’s “Electric Honey” session, you are undoubtedly one of those people who have been waiting for the release of “Burning” for a long time. It’s one of those entities that may not have existed if it wasn’t for the COVID lockdowns, but, fortunately, she used her newly found spare time to give us such treasures
“Burning” is the second indication that her career is undoubtedly heading towards the big leagues. According to our friend Lewca’s words, “This could be a soundtrack for the next James Bond movie if they have the guts to cast Idris Elba; it is that cool.” I think that her voice alone would be enough to make a mediocre performance of any band sound good, but together with other instruments, each of them outstanding and with a great production, they make this song a masterpiece. This is probably one of the most emotional ballads I’ve listened to in a long time, and it always leaves me wanting more. The abrupt ending just makes me want to rewind it and start over again.
